We engineered our Moment Modular Systems with flexibility and adaptability in mind, allowing us not only to adapt to nearly any classic car architecture, but to achieve consistency, reliability, maintainability, and upgradability across all Moment conversions. This is what truly sets a Moment apart from any other Classic Electric Vehicle on the market.
Modular Motor Systems
No single motor can be the universal solution to power every classic car. A Moment transformation of a compact 60’s British roadster has very different power requirements than a 70’s American muscle car and the engine bay size reflects that. The Moment Modular Motor System accommodates a wide range of vintage drivetrains in both single and dual motor configurations from a number of manufacturers. To accommodate the many unique vintage drivetrains that are on the road, we’ve developed our Modular Motor System to handle a variety of motors in both single and dual configurations.
Universal mounting plates allow single, in-line dual, and stacked dual motor configurations with motors from multiple manufacturers such as Netgain, HPEVS, and Parker.
Interchangeable transmission-specific adapters and flywheel couplers allow for easy mating to any manual transmission.
Customizable support rails with chassis-specific motor mounts allow for precise fitment into any vehicle.
MODULAR BATTERY ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS
Just as every classic has its own personality, each driver has unique goals and requirements. In order to accommodate the power and range needs of our customers and, maintain or improve the original weight distribution of the vehicle, we developed our Modular Battery Enclosure System. The flexibility of this system allows us to build battery packs with simple buildable bricks that can be placed in the vehicle wherever space allows.
